I live in Colorado and whenever my husband and I are back in Dallas (several times a year), we take our Hondas to Eddie and Adam at North Dallas Imports. They have always been upfront about what work needed to be done immediately, what could be handled later, and their prices have been WELL BELOW dealership estimates. Also, Eddie and Adam both worked at a local dealership before opening their own business, so their work meets all Honda standards for excellence. Also, they have been very fair and open about what they are doing and what it will cost, which I appreciate because other mechanics have tried to raise their prices or treated me disrespectfully because I’m a girl ? Eddie and Adam are always respectful and patient with my questions. My husband and I have even been on the road and needed assistance with our cars – they have talked us through the situation when we called to get us going again!!!! BEST SERVICE in NORTH DFW!!!! (and Colorado!)

Honest and trustworthy, plus really well priced! As a young female coming in alone, they told me what the problem was on my 2006 Sentra, had it fixed exactly when they said they would, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They even gave me a list of non-urgent fixes I could come back to complete in the next few months. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable mechanic!

I have been going to NDI for about 1 year and some change. Lemme tell you while they are about $5-10 over the industry within the neighborhood...its worth it. My 2008 honda accord has a maintenance minder that goes off like clockwork. Each scheduled maintenance is about $134.00 ie. Oil change tire rotation, and all that it includes. Eddie (owner) loves talking about cars. He can go on and on about mine. Cool. Hes passionate about mechanical repair. Wes is cool. He installed after market courtesy door light with the honda insignia $5. I coulda did it. But i didnt have the proper tools. (Pocket knife). The reason u should come here is because they get it right and for a fair price. Eddie does build relationships with his clients. I tried to save a few dollars at Mos' Garage with a oil change.. The little grease ball left oil in the carpet. His uniform was oily..i mean he picked it straight out the recycled oil bin and clocked in and just goes to work. They dont do that at NDI. I have witnessed Eddie spot clean your car before u pick it up. Bottom line. U get what. You pay for. I spent $34. In sweat equity cleaning my black leather seats. Steering wheel. And carpet.

Eddie is very knowledgeable about Hondas/Acuras. I talked to him on the phone and he knew excactly what was wrong with my 2004 Acura TL. He was able to complete my repairs the next day within two hours. I will return in the future.

Great customer service provided and affordable price. I was really impressed with Eddie. The work was done on time and I will recommend this company. I took my Odyssey to change the AC compressor and they did a good job.

Date of repair: 10-14-2010rnrnThis is my 2nd Acura. My first was the Legend which I finally sold at 160,000 miles, so I have some experience with maintenace. rnrnMy ’02 Acura RL needed the 110,000 miles service or the belt change. I know from my past that these usually run over $1000. NDI was recommended by my father-in-law, so I called and talked to Eddie to get a quote on the belt replacement and anything else that might need to be fixed or checked. The quote sounded reasonable. Right before I went in, my check engine light went on. No idea and I thought…OK, what now. Eddie did a check, said everything was testing fine or wasn’t showing anything as a problem. He asked what Octane gas I was using and that led me to a new gas station I tried. More than likely bad gas. Anyway I left the car with Eddie for repairs. He called later to let me know my radiator had a small crack and would have to be replaced at some point. Doing it now would save labor later, but he let me make the decision. I knew the radiator was leaking as Firestone had said the same thing. (I’m use to the old cars…you have a leak, you have to fix it then). No idea how these new cars can operate with a small leak. Anyway, I chose to add a new radiator and get it fixed. I picked up the car when he said it was ready! Everything works just fine, the engine purrs the same and I’m no longer worried about the belt breaking. I highly recommend NDI and will be taking my car back as needed.rnrnHe also changed a fuse that had blown a while back that knocked out the radio, some lights, etc. I checked every fuse I could fine and could not find a blown fuse – old cars are much easier. He knows Acuras and fixed it without charge. My wife is happy to have her radio back.rnrnWould highly recommend NDIrnrnKirby

I’m one of those single women who have to rely on Google or Honda websites to help me figure out car issues (not that I can fix anything). I have faithfully gone to dealerships for my 2003 Honda Accords service, giving them double and triple the cost. A friend told me one day about Eddie and the excellent service he did on her car. She knew I had been looking for a reliable source, not a dealership. I called and Eddie, you responded. You made me feel comfortable from the first phone call! All of the issues the dealership had tried to push on me, over $600 of work, was totally not needed. I have over 100k miles on this car and hope to keep it for years to come. Looks like I will be able to now that I have Eddie and North Dallas Imports. I’ve referred friends, who actually had to call Eddie on a weekend and he helped. She told me he was a life saver. She’s since referred someone also. When a individual/business does something good for you it’s important to share that experience with others.
