What a gem! I am forever grateful and happy that I found this place. I was at a Land Rover dealership where I was severely being taken advantage of and in a rush found this place on an Internet search. I called and was given a quote immediately and able to come in the very next day. While I was grossly over paying for oil changes at Land Rover. I found this place to be much quicker and professional. They have a really nice waiting room with Wi-Fi. I was treated very nicely there. I definitely will be going back! It took Land Rover five hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. I got new brakes rotors the works and it only took a couple of hours. They even called me to follow up when I wasn't there due to traffic. They knew a lot about cars and great deals. They were not just trying to sell you something. Again... I'm going back when I need service again.

North Dallas Imports has turly been a blessing. Being a single female it is very common to be taken advantage of at most mechanic shops. Andy, Eddie and the rest of the N.D.I team have been WONDERFUL. I was told by 3 other well known shops that it would cost me $2,100 $1,500 and $1,300 to get my alternator replaced. None of those three shops even ran a test to see what was wrong I just explain to them what was happening and they quoted me prices. I was devastated who has that kinda money just laying around I certainly don't . A good friend told me about North Dallas imports and that I should give them a call instead of stressing. I went in and explain to them what was going on with my car they ran tests and couldn't find anything wrong. Andy told me based off of what I explaining it could have been one or two things however, the test would need to comfirm what the issue is before they would start fixing anything so that I wouldn't pay for something that's not the problem. He said that they would take it for a spin one more time and try to run a test to see if anything showed up and the second time they were able to see what the problem was and comes to find out it had nothing to do with my alternator it was a computer issue that cost me little to nothing to fix. Now and he had no idea that I've been to three other shops and the prices they quoted me. A huge weight was lifted and at that moment I knew I was at the right shop. Had I replace the alternator I would have just burn the new one out too because it was a computer problem. When I think about all the money that I could have loss in the process and all the stress that it was causing make me...... I'm soooooooo GRATEFUL that we still have some honest/caring Mechanic shops left. North Dallas imports Thank you for the impact you left that day and know N.D.I will always be my number one shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The A/C in my 2004 Honda Accord started blowing hot. Took it to Lute Riley Honda off Central Expressway and they said it would cost me $1250 to replace the condenser, coil, and clutch and then also said my radiator fan stopped spinning and the next time I get stuck in traffic my car will overheat. The total estimate was $1750 and I had to pay a $120 fee to get that info.Called a couple other places including Mastertech in Plano and Hondew in Dallas based on yelp reviews. They quoted me much lower prices ($1200 and $1000 respectively). Then I called North Dallas Imports who quoted me a price of $750. They said they would waive the diagnostic fee as well since I used Yelp. I spoke with Wes on the phone. He told me he was sure they could beat the dealer price. I asked him how much it would be and he gave me a guess but said he would have to look it up. It took me prompting him to look it up before he did. Other than that he was nice and informative. Even before I mentioned what the exact problem was he guessed it when I said 2004 Honda A/C problem. When I drove up, the exterior didn't look that impressive. But as I was walking up, a lady opened the door as if she was waiting for me and offered me complimentary cold bottle water. The guy behind the counter (Eddie who I found out is the owner) said he would do the diagnostic right away which was a pleasant surprise bc on the phone they has said it might take awhile before they got to it bc of 4th of July backup. The waiting room was much nicer than I expected. Hardwood floors, free wifi, flat screen tv with CNN on, cold A/C, very clean. After the diagnostic which took only about fifteen minutes, Eddie took me back into the back to explain exactly what was going on with the car and what he recommends. He confirmed that I did need to replace the condenser, clutch, and coil and also the radiator fan and suggested I replace the other fan as well. He explained that the fans aren't vital but it will be less cool and will tax the new condenser. He didn't charge me labor for replacing the fans since his standard procedure in working on compressor is to remove the fans anyway. He said he's not looking to nickel and dime me but would rather earn my business (long-term) rather than get as much money as he can out of me in a single repair (short-term). When I was waiting for my ride which is right down the street at a fast food restaurant, the lady in the front offered to drive me there, which I took her up on since it was so hot outside. Talk about red carpet service! The total repair ended up being $950 which is still the cheapest quote I got anywhere. They had to keep it overnight and then I picked it up at the end of the next day. Had to wait about fifteen minutes when I got there. A/C was blowing cold when I got inside. Only bad thing was my car smelled like sweat inside of it. Not a huge thing to me but it might have bothered someone else. Probably could have sprayed some sort of air freshner which is what I'll do when I get home. What matters most to me is the lowest price since I'm on a shoe string budget and the honesty of what I really need done versus trying to sell me on additional stuff that I don't need. The great personal service was a nice bonus though and a pleasant surprise.I will be back for my free oil change and for any other repairs.

Just had my Acura MDX 2011 in for the A123 service. I found the staff (Andy in particular) to be very honest, professional and knowledgeable. Very clean and inviting shop, well worth the 45 min drive. The cost of service was well below what the dealership or other highly reputable shops online (Yelp or Google reviews) wanted. Thank you for the great service!

The most important thing for me is customer service and reliable parts. They treated me REALLY fair and all have Honda experience. No gimmicks or upselling and things you don't need for your vehicle. They are straight shooters and give you options. I have already referred two other people and just visited today. All parts are Honda parts, not generic at all, and the cost for all the work they do can't be beat anywhere! I am very happy I found this company and will be back if any other work needs to be done on my car.

I'm never too excited to need car repairs, but I love the people at North Dallas Imports! I have a '90 Honda Civic wagon that needs occasional love and they treat her right. I trust them to take care of my car and be respectful of my wallet. They make suggestions and recommendations, but are never pushy. They explain what the problem is, what needs to be done, and they are all Honda mechanics so they are fast too! I feel confident in their work and recommend them highly.

The most important thing about driving an older vehicle is knowing you are not far away from having technicians nearby who do quality work and look out for your best interests. Its not all about making money with Eddie, Andy and the others. I am sure they have had my best interests in mind when performing work on my vehicles. I'm fortunate to have found them and have confidence knowing they are doing top quality work at the same time.
