not only are they over priced but they treated my car like a junk car. they found a motor problem and told me I needed a new motor. I said ok I'll take it back home. they charged me 670. I guess that was that was for labor. then I asked them to put all the parts in the trunk in a box if they can. they agreed but I found loose parts under my hood, loose in my trunk, and the cover of my fuel tank damaged from them putting the parts box on it. And to top it off my battery upside down and leaking in my trunk!
Mr. Thomas, Our apologies for your feeling that we didn't care about your car and that you feel that we treated it like a junk car. All your parts and battery were put in your car as we agreed. If the battery did tip over in the towing process it is something that was beyond our control. What should have been done is as soon as the car was dropped off to you, it would have been wise to make sure nothing shifted during transport. There were items left undone underneath your hood, which was the agreement that way you didn't have to pay for a complete timing belt replacement ($670 vs $950) thus saving you money . The price you paid was fair based on the time spent on diagnosis and installment of a timing belt to find out if your engine was good or not. Please remember that we tried to talk you out of doing any repairs to your Lexus. We knew that there was 99% possibility that when the timing belt tensioner failed that it would bend valves, which is what happened (Lexus/Toyota V8 engines are the only ones that do). You agreed to take that risk despite our advise against it. The charges are reasonable for the amount of time spent and complexity of the repair/diagnosis that was done. We apologize again for you feeling short changed, we strive to give everyone the best value for there money. Thanks, Eddie
